Program levels
1. Water Acclimation (Beginner / Basic)
Target students: first-timers, young children (ages 6 months+), or nervous adults.
Goals: safe pool rules, reduce fear, learn breath control, floating (front/back), basic submersion, entering and exiting pool safely.
2. Fundamental Aquatics (Beginner+)
Target students: those comfortable in water but not yet independent swimmers.
Goals: independent floating, streamlined glide, steady flutter kick, coordinated arm-and-leg movement for short distances.
Skills taught: unassisted front/back float, 5–15 yards continuous freestyle with face-in, rhythmic breathing (side turn), basic backstroke, introduction to treading water.
3. Stroke Development (Intermediate)
Target students: swimmers who can swim 15–25 yards continuously and want improved form and efficiency.
Goals: develop consistent freestyle and backstroke technique, learn breaststroke fundamentals, improve breathing and body alignment, build endurance.
Skills taught: bilateral breathing for freestyle, flip turns introduction (if deep enough), efficient backstroke, basic breaststroke kick and timing, sustained treading water.
4. Stroke Improvement & Endurance (Upper Intermediate)
Target students: swimmers comfortable with all three basic strokes and looking to refine technique and increase distance.
Goals: refine stroke mechanics, increase speed and stamina, introduce race starts and turns, reduce drag.
Skills taught: advanced drills for catch and pull (freestyle/backstroke), breaststroke pull timing, efficient breast kick and glide, dolphin kick introduction, tumble turns, interval training and pace awareness.
5. Advanced Technique & Racing (Advanced)
Target students: child/adult competitive swimmers, triathletes, or adults aiming for high-level technique and conditioning.
Goals: optimize stroke efficiency, maximize speed, advanced starts and turns, race strategy, individualized training plans.
Skills taught: stroke-specific biomechanics (freestyle/backstroke/breast/butterfly), underwater dolphin kick, powerful breakout, relay exchanges, race pacing, advanced interval sets, strength and dryland training integration.
Additional Information
Private lessons: one-on-one coaching for rapid improvement or addressing specific needs.
Semi-private lessons: small groups (2–4) for focused attention with peer motivation.
Swim teams & squads: for competitive development with regular practices and meet preparation.
